The Enhanced A90 adopts fully discrete parts to redesign the Nested Feedback Composite Amplifier module. It features 4 built-in NFCA-Discrete units with thirty-nine transistors each, forming a completely balanced structure. The optimized Voltage-Current hybrid feedback architecture, along with Ultra High Gain Feedback technology, provides superior DC and AC performance. Thanks to the new design, the amp has a stronger output capability, making it easy to drive low impedance headphones effortlessly.
Two Gain Settings: The Enhanced A90 includes dual gain modes, adaptable for a wide range of headphones: low gain for sensitive IEMs, and elevated gain for full-sized over-ears. Combined with the ultra-low 0.2uVrms noise, even sensitive IEMs will experience no noise.
Ground Loop Noise Terminator: Electrical noise can occur when several devices are used simultaneously. The Enhanced A90 adds a GND/LIFT switch to resolve this issue. Set it to GND for standard use, or to LIFT when ground loop noise is encountered, eliminating the noise.
Dual Functionality: The Enhanced A90 isn’t just drives headphones, but also functions as a preamp. In preamp mode, you receive the same high performance as in headphone amp mode, with 20ohm SE and 40ohm balanced output impedance for many power amplifiers. It supports simultaneous output from all outputs.
The Enhanced A90 furnished with XLR and RCA stereo inputs, offering more connections when paired with Ext90, including 4 XLR and 2 RCA stereo inputs. Equipped with a 12V Trigger interface, it can be set to active or passive mode. With a 3.5mm connector, it can sync on/off with other 12V Trigger-equipped devices.
Customizable Volume Control: The A90 Discrete features R2R volume control, made up of resistor networks and relays, offering precise control, longevity, complete channel balance, and remote control. The Enhanced A90 can remember output or input volume settings, automatically restoring to the last used volume when the same output is chosen again.
